How to Hear.

Pastor: “Praise the Lord!”

Congregation: “Hallelujah”

Pastor: “No, No No, No,.. See, that’s for the Holy spirit! If it is for God you will shout a louder Hallelujah”.

Pastor: “Church praise the Lord!! ”

Congregation
: “Hallelujah!!!!!!!!! ”

 I almost melted on my seat as a result of what I heard that day.

Friends, there is a lot of ignorance and error being projected in Christian gatherings as of today. Some may not be so glaring as this, and you’d be suprised to find out the amount of contraband items being handed out daily from pulpits as originals.

SoTake heed therefore HOW ye hear… Luke 8:18 (emphasis added). The word “how” implies that there is a protocol and proceedure to hearing.
*[[Heb 2:3]] KJV* How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Notice the sequence:

  • The Lord first spoke it to us ( we first listened to the Lord).
  • Then it was confirmed to us by others that heard him (we then listened to what others had to say).

Reversing this protocol/sequence as a lifestyle, you’re most likely to be living in error no matter how sincere you are.

If you value or give preference or priority to the words of a Man (even if he’s a revered Senior Pastor) over the voice of God, you’re tredding a dangerous path.

If we would walk as wise, redeem the times in this evil days and not be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine, there is the utmost need to lend our ears primarily to the voice of the Father; place our ears on His chest to hear His heartbeat.

You can’t know how far away from the original a fake product is until you have and compare it with a template of the original.
Arm yourself against error, study the Word to know what it really says.

God bless you.
